Welcome to Albion Farm Shop & Cafe

Enjoy the fantastic views which pan across Delph, Dobcross, Uppermill, Greenfield, Scouthead and Grasscroft and includes Dobcross Church, Saddleworth Church, the train viaduct and Saddleworth’s famous war memorial ‘Pots ‘n’ Pans’. Cafe favourites include our Great British Breakfast, Lilian’s afternoon tea and plenty of other delicious homemade treats.

In the kitchen we have a great team to assist head chef, Mel . Since opening they have already made quite an impression. Our opening buffet was received with requests of outside catering (watch this space!) and one polite gentleman was so impressed with the ‘best breakfast he’d ever had’ that he didn’t only thank the girls personally but sought out owner, David, to let him know how great they were. Compliments indeed. We welcome any feedback good or bad as it all helps us towards improvements so please feel free to let us know.

On the Cafe side we are happy to welcome Bridget as full time Manager.  When thinking of someone who would be efficient, helpful and cheerful we decided that there was only one lady for the job, Bridget! Brought up as a farmer’s daughter and partner to John from Lancashire’s dairy farm, we also knew where we would be getting our milk from to use in the cafe! She has become a little possessive of her beloved coffee machine and we are all a bit too scared to use it for fear of the death stare, but we figure this is the sign of a truly great coffee maker.

All our cafe staff have been trained on how to make excellent coffee from our chosen whole bean ‘Louie Mio’ and will be happy to help with any requirements.

See our cafe being built!
