At long last work has begun on our new shop and cafe. Despite having the necessary planning permission we still had a number of issues to resolve before we could think of starting work, not least of which was financing the project. Thanks to a successful grant application to North West Development Agency’s rural development developement plan for England and a meeting with our bank manager, this is now in place and the exciting bit starts.

We know from our experiences of opening Albion Farm Shop that there is a lot of stress and decision making involved but at least we do have that experience and a chance to improve on what we have.
