A Message From Kyle

Well I’m now in my seventh month since joining the butchers here at Albion Farm and I have to say what a busy time it’s been!

First let me say an enormous thank you to all the customers who welcomed me to this new area (being a Yorkshire Lad!) and gave me much needed feedback regarding what you loved with the butchers and what you think could be improved.  I hope I have done you proud!

If you frequent our Butchery then you will have noticed the changes that have worked their way in, such as our extensive ready meal section, all made with our own top-quality meat and veg, combined with award winning marinades and concoctions.  I can tell you have enjoyed them as they are quickly becoming our best sellers!

But, to be fair, with products ranging from Cajun Chicken Stir-fry to Mediterranean lamb casserole, it’s no surprise why…

..and of course, I could not miss Christmas, although rather hectic (and possibly chaotic at times) the hard work of all my butchers Dean, Roger, Ben, Jacob and Frasier can not be understated. Plenty of late nights followed by early mornings all went in to ensure your Christmas meat was the best yet, and I have to say ‘BRAVO GENTS!’, as the feedback from our valued customers has being overwhelming. 

Now in to the New Year, I have continued to streamline and increase productivity to ensure your favourite Butchery is always fully stocked and meets only the highest quality standards. Along with this, we are beginning to supply local pubs and restaurants, so you can enjoy our quality - regardless of where you are.

With so many little things ranging from the introduction of our sticky black treacle bacon to a complete overhaul of our Food and Health policies (dull I know, but it has to be done!) I’m sure this will be a productive year.

And lastly, apprenticeships and good quality sourcing has always been close to my heart, so later in the year we will be taking on young aspiring butchers to be, to bring flesh blood into the trade, and I will be as ever, sourcing only the finest farmers delivering the best that British meat has to offer.
